Handmade cards, crafts, and cake are the best. Also, love that my age is a “?”.
Six years in and I still can’t believe I’m a mom. Motherhood is by far THE HARDEST endeavor I’ve taken on, stretching and growing me in ways I didn’t know I could.
It’s also made me incredibly appreciative and reflective of all that my mom was and continues to be for me — strong, intuitive, independent, and resilient. I don’t know who I’d be without her example, and I hope to show and instill all of these qualities in my girls as she did in me.
(Mom — I love you and miss you. Can’t wait to eat cake and celebrate this special day together again.)
