let's diy a hanging plant!

Faux greenery is on trend and looking better than ever. That said, it's not always easy to find exactly what you picture in your mind. Maybe you love the plant but the pot it comes in doesn’t match your style or vice-versa. So rather than spend hours searching online (read: losing valuable time you’ll never get back), you can make your own with just 3 things:

  1. Pot of your choice. Planters are plentiful in these spring/summer months. I recommend something that will work with any design style like a simple basket or neutral-colored ceramic (white, black, cream, or gray). I wanted a hanging planter and went with a timeless light gray ceramic from Target on sale for $16!

  2. Spanish moss. Less than $5 at Lowes.

  3. Faux string of pearls. A quick online search will give you multiple vendors selling these succulents or something similar).

If you’d rather do a plant than the pearls, skip the moss and go for it! It’s about bringing whatever YOU envision for your home to life.
